DreamStream is a limited liability company headquartered in Lebanon, Tennessee. The company also has offices in Beverly Hills, California. DreamStream is an information technology company specializing in cryptography and digital rights management.
DreamStream's team of programmers and scientists have developed an unpublished, military-grade, 20 round, 2048-bit encryption that is reported to have never been hacked. DreamStream's products and services are based around this encryption. In 2007, DreamStream developed DreamStream Studio, an encrypted video distribution platform that offered the company's full anti-piracy system via Internet streaming media. DreamStream Studio was developed as a betaware system to demonstrate the company's technological abilities.
On March 17, 2008 DreamStream announced the launch of their latest product Gum.bo, due late April of the same year. Gum.bo is a licensable, secure video distribution system based on the DreamStream Studio technology. Targeting niche IPTV operators, Gum.bo is DreamStream's first in-house product launch.
