Donahue Peebles III

Roy Donahue Peebles III (born April 1994) is a real estate developer and Executive Vice President at Peebles Corporation.
Early life and education
Donahue Peebles III was born in April 1994 in Washington, D.C., to parents R. Donahue Peebles and Katrina Peebles. He spent his childhood in South Florida and attended high school in New York. He graduated from Columbia University, earning a Bachelor of Economics in 2016.
Career
Peebles began working for his father's firm during his senior summer in high school. and Atlanta. He is also Chairman and CEO of Legacy Real Estate Development, a residential real estate development firm focused on creating inclusive communities through sustainable housing solutions. The project received the 2024 HAND (Housing Association of Non-Profit Developers) Award for Housing Achievement in the "Best Small Affordable Housing Project" category. Silver Art Projects, and the Hospitality Real Estate Advisory Board at Florida International University.
On June 13, 2024, Peebles assisted in rescuing a 67-year-old woman stranded in floodwaters in Miami.
Awards
In 2023, Peebles received the Affordable Housing Trailblazer Award from The NHP Foundation.
Legacy Real Estate Development received the 2024 HAND Award for "Best Small Affordable Housing Project" for its 17 Mississippi Apartments in Washington, D.C.<ref name=":5" />
