Samir G. Moussa (born 1961), better known professionally as Sam Moussa, is a Lebanese-American businessman, glass industrialist, and real estate developer based in Miami, Florida. He is the co-founder of Glasswall Inc. and Continental Glass Systems. Moussa is known for specializing in prominent high-rise glass installation and residential development projects in the United States, Caribbean, and Middle East. Early life Moussa was born in Amman, Jordan in 1961. During his early childhood his family moved to neighboring Lebanon, where he was subsequently raised and retains dual Lebanese-American citizenship. After graduating high school he attended specialized trade schooling where he learned various construction design methods and developed an interest in glass and doors. Glasswall Following the widespread destruction of Hurricane Andrew in South Florida, glass installation was in high-demand throughout the region as many buildings suffered extensive window damage. One long-term effect of Hurricane Andrew was the rewriting of building safety codes across South Florida. Following sharp increase in demand for hurricane-resistant high-impact glass, Moussa grew his business substantially and in 1994 he closed Alsir Throughout the 1990s Glasswall grew to be among the leading firms for hurricane-resistant glass production, lamination, and installation in Florida. As the firm became more successful it expanded and reorganized, eventually changing its name to Glasswall LLC in 2001 following a period of mergers. By 2003, the firm was earning multimillion-dollar sales as well as internationally (including China, Ecuador and Colombia) Glasswall had subsequently become the preferred glass installation and glazing firm for Colombo’s high-profile developments across South Florida (in partnership with his CMC Group) and received increased media attention with coverage in various outlets including the Miami Herald, Miami Today, Sun Sentinel, Haute Living, and Florida Trend. Building off his recognition and reputation within the specialty glass industry, Continental Glass Systems would follow Glasswall’s trajectory of rapid growth and pivot to establish a stronger focus on prominent luxury clients, such as the Ritz Carlton, Armani, Porsche, and Ferrari-Maserati. The firm’s focus on high-end projects would also develop an international clientele that included the Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Turks and Caicos, and Abu Dhabi. As with Glasswall, Continental Glass Systems attracted the attention of investors and in 2015 Moussa and his partners sold majority shares to Graham Architectural Products of the multibillion-dollar industrial conglomerate The Graham Group. Following the merger and acquisition (which retained the firm’s name and general structure), Moussa’s became Continental Glass System’s COO and would also serve Continental’s board as a consultant. Key Continental Glass Systems projects from Moussa's tenure include the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, Dadeland Mall in Miami, Armani Casa Residences, Real estate development Following the acquisition of Continental Glass Systems, Moussa also become active as a South Florida real estate developer with a focus on residential projects including condominiums and triplex developments. In 2017 he founded the firm PH2 Management & Development LLC. and serves as its president and director. In 2020 Moussa announced the development of his private residence, Aqua Azure, in Pinecrest. The estate, designed by the prominent Coral Gables architecture firm , was notable for unveiling a new architecture design style called “ZenLux” and utilized a significant amount of glass in reference to his background in the impact glass industry.<ref name"Miami's Community Newspapers" /> The residence drew comparisons to Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater<ref name"Miami's Community Newspapers" /> and was also notable for featuring a commissioned original sculpture by Cuban artist Rafael Consuegra.<ref name"Aqua Azure" /> In press coverage of Aqua Azure, Moussa described his general real estate development philosophy as “premium safety paired with peak luxury.”<ref name"Miami's Community Newspapers" />
