Dog Soldiers: Fresh Meat is the upcoming sequel to the 2002 British werewolf film Dog Soldiers. Captain Ryan (Liam Cunningham) commands a British Special Forces unit attacked while on a mission deep in the highland forests. Sergeant Walker, the lone survivor of the brutal assault, reluctantly joins forces with an elite American reconnaissance team led by Sergeant Logan. Together they uncover the true nature of Ryan's mission and engage an enemy that is unlike any they've seen before - an enemy that is faster, deadlier, and more than human. Production Director Rob Green had this to say: "Some of the characters actually love being a werewolf because they are so powerful - the ultimate killing machine…it’s a fun spin on the traditional angle that being a werewolf is a curse which damns the person no matter what." |
