DJ Grind (real name not known) was born September 21, 1981, he is an English DJ based in Portsmouth known for his radio show, mixtapes and interviews on youtube of famous artists. Signed to So Star Entertainment in 2009. Currently working on a pilot television show where he will follow well known artists around their daily lives called 'A life in the day of....' Biography A late starter in the game at 23, He was given the opportunity to become the Friday night resident and though he had no experience as a DJ his musical knowledge got him through his learning period on the 1s & 2s. To this day he still says "you don't have to be the most skilled DJ to rock a crowd as long as you know what to drop and when to drop it!" DJ Grind took a little break from DJing in public but kept his name out there by releasing a series of well received mixtapes. Not able to rest for long and soon started promoting acts, he has put on shows and worked with top DJs such as Clinton Sparks, DJ Drama, Mick Boogie, MistaJam And DJ B, And such artists as Mims, Ryan Leslie & Montell Jordan. DJ Grind hosts The RnG Show every Friday 7-9 on the RnG show, on 93.7 Express FM or at www.expressfm.com Guests on the show have included Dizzee Rascal, Robin Thicke, Gym Class Heroes & Sway. The show gained a reputation as the number 1 urban show in the south, with listeners all over the UK and sometimes all over the world such places as USA, Holland, Germany & Spain. DJ Grind has also featured in a track called Wanna Buck produced by Nasty Boi Productions.
