Ding Day 2009
Ding Day 2009 is due to take place on Wednesday September 9. Whenever a cyclist passes another person on a bike on this day they offer them a friendly greeting by ringing their bicycle bell.
The idea behind Ding Day is to create a fun experience for cyclists and locals in and around London, with the hope of creating more of a sense of community amongst fellow cyclists, including commuters, parents, children, etc. Ding Day is free and open to everyone.
Ding Day has appeared in numerous cycling blogs including The London Cyclist and Padded Shorts.
