Diane Patrick

Diane Patrick (née Bemus) (born 1951) is the First Lady of Massachusetts and the wife of Governor Deval Patrick. She is an attorney specializing in labor and employment law. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Queens College and a Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School. Patrick served as an attorney in the Office of General Counsel at Harvard University, and as Harvard's Director/Associate Vice President for Human Resources. She is currently a partner at the Boston law firm Ropes & Gray. She married Deval Patrick in 1984 and the couple has lived in Milton, Massachusetts since 1989 with their two daughters, Sarah and Katherine.
