Dhruv Bhalla (born May 10, 1980) is the current vice president of SREI and heads international business and development at SREI Infrastructures Finance Limited. He has over 13 years of experience and specializes in business planning, project development and strategic planning. His work areas are strategic planning & analysis, M&A advisory, market assessments, business development & economic industry analysis. He is well-versed with government regulations and policies as well as developments in the finance industry. Career At SREI, Dhruv overlooks SREI’s international expansion by identifying acquisition opportunities across financial services and infrastructure space. He had been the Trade Commissioner for the Canadian High Commissions (Commercial Section) prior to joining SREI. Before that he worked as the Senior Consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers and before that he was associated with Hewitt Associates as an analyst. Dhruv also worked at KPMG, UBS Paine Webber Inc. and Deloitte. Seminars and Conferences Dhruv has been a participant at the World Economic Forum on East Asia held at Manila, Philippines during May 21-23, 2014. He was also part of the business delegation which was jointly organized by The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Bhutan Chamber of Commerce and Industry on May 12 and 13, 2015. Dhruv has been a speaker at the Urban Infrastructure Conclave 2015. He also spoke at the launch of the office of the Turkish-Indian chamber of commerce & Industry in Kolkata. He was on the panel discussion titled The Value for Investment from Healthy Workplaces held as part of Arogya World’s Healthy Workplace Awards. This awards function is held each year as part of Arogya World’s 2013 Clinton Global Initiative Commitment to Action. Education Dhruv acquired a BA degree from the College of Wooster, Wooster, Ohio in Business Economics. He completed his Masters of Science (MS) in Finance and Investment from the Queen Mary University of London. He has finished his schooling from La Martiniere, Kolkata.
