DeskRoll

DeskRoll is a web-based tool for remote access to computers.
Technology and Functions
Similar to Guacamole, DeskRoll uses an HTML5 viewport to display and control the remote machine's desktop. Theoretically, this allows remote control from any device that can run an HTML5-compliant browser (PC, Mac, Linux, iPhone, iPad, Android and RIM devices, etc.).
On the remote computer, an application is installed that enables communication between the devices. The application only supports Microsoft Windows. The remote access service operates in one of the two modes:
* Access to user-operated computers. Remote user runs the application and tells the security code to the support technician. Upon entering the code, technician gets access to the remote computer for one support session.
* Access to unattended computers. Technician installs the component on a computer and confirms they want to access the computer remotely at any time.
The following functions are available:
* File exchange between both computers.
* Remote reboot.
* Built-in IM chat.
Communication Protocol
Proprietary, works over SSL.
License
Only commercial licenses are available. DeskRoll is a paid subscription service (SaaS) with a 30-day trial period.
