History DesignAShirt.com went live in early 2003 and is based in Tempe, Arizona. It was founded by John Anton who has owned a screen printing and embroidery company since 1985 by the name of Anton Sport. Products & Services DesignAShirt has an online design tool called The Studio. This flash based online design center gives the customer the ability to see their final t-shirt order before they purchase it. The customer can create their own design using some easy to use tools that allow the customer to add text, use preloaded graphic images of clipart, or upload their own design or graphic. The customer can also receive an instant online quote for their order before purchasing. DesignAShirt also prints for sports teams, organizations, businesses, Greek fraternities and sororities and family reunions. DesignAShirt prints t-shirts and other apparel in 2 different processes. Their main process is screen printing. If a customer has an order over a minimum of 6 or more, they will receive professional screen printing. The screen printing is retail quality and does not fade in the initial washes. The other process is digital printing. This applies to a customer’s order of 1-4 items. This process of theirs is called Just-One. This innovative technology lasts longer that the shirt it is printed on. This new process allows DesignAShirt to print no minimum quantities in unlimited colors as well as on light and dark garments. Customers can order as few as one custom t-shirt or as many as 10,000. Other products that DesignAShirt carries are sweatshirts, cheer shorts, team jerseys, polo shirts, and other customizable products. DesignAShirt also has a fraud protection system to monitor customer transactions. This gives their customers a sense of security when ordering through DesignAShirt.com's website.
