SVS Printing Company

SVS Printing Company was originally founded in 1975 by F. Grijseels and P. de Ruyter. In 1979, F. Grijseels bought all of de Ruyter's shares and became the sole owner of the company. In the 1980s the company was growing fast and soon SVS Printing became one of the biggest company's for printing, copying, and document management in the region.

In 1999 SVS Printing Company started with a successful website and was one of the first to offer online product information and prices for print and design. For this the company received a lot of criticism from other printing companies because it was 'not done' to make the prices for printing and graphic design public. At that time R. Grijseels, the son of the owner, was manager of marketing and responsible for the website. In 2006 the company started the online printing-guide, called DrukkerijPortaal.

For many years SVS Printing Company did business with many prominent multinationals such as Philips NV, Daf Trucks and ASML, printing stationery, annual reports and other documents. SVS Printing Company also prints many volumes for the Technical University of Eindhoven.

SVS Printing Company today
Today SVS Printing offers a wide variety of printing products. Offset-printing is still the biggest part of the printed output but digital printing and Print On Demand (POD) is gaining terrain quickly. In 2006 the acquisition of a new Docucolor Highvolume Digital Printing Press increased the output volume for digital print with more than 25% and new plans to invest in more digital print technology have been made public.
