Derek Burgan

Derek Burgan is a regular commentator and humorist who writes for the Wrestling Observer family of wrestling websites. In the early 2000s, Burgan partnered with humorist Peter Zed to introduce a graphic comic to the Pro Wrestling Torch entitled "What if?" - in the fashion of Marvel Comics similarly titled series. Some of the comics touched on serious topics in the wrestling industry including the pro wrestling charter, a document outlining responsible behavior for wrestling promoters and a series of comics dealing with Stone Cold Steve Austin's alleged domestic abuse. Burgan currently operates the website Gumgod.com and regularly posts news and shoot video reviews to WrestlingObserver.com and the PWTorch.com |
