It developed Intellisys system and products using a proprietary protocol as well as a BACnet line with an open systems protocol. Delta Controls became one of leaders in providing building management controllers that operate on Native BACnet. BACnet is an open communications protocol designed to allow normally disparate systemes to communicate with each other. In 2000, the company launched its web based operator work station product, BACnet with an open systems protocol that can schedule control from a computer. The web based application was one of the first products in the industry that can process a variety of analog and binary inputs and outputs.
