Deepak Mawandia

Deepak Mawandia is an Indian born Private Equity & Investment Management professional with 15+ years of global investing & operating experience. Deepak is currently engaged with AT Capital group of companies, a large family office, based in Singapore. The Group comprises AT Holdings, the asset owning company, and AT Capital, the in-house asset management entity. The group has more than USD 2.5 billion assets under management. Deepak has been instrumental in structuring and developing the office and has been involved in multiple projects related to new investments, mergers & acquisitions, corporate restructuring, tax optimization as well as developing systems for control and reporting.
Deepak has significant experience in the domains of Private Equity, Corporate Finance & Restructuring and Investments & Tax Management spanning multi-country geographies such as India, China, Singapore, the CIS countries, Myanmar & multi-industry investments in the field of Oil & Gas, Shipping, Infrastructure, Real Estate, Hospitality and Renewable Energy. Deepak has been a Carbon finance expert in his early career and has been instrumental in setting up Carbon Watch, India's first GHG emissions trading and consultancy venture. Deepak has been a thought leader in the carbon industry and has been widely consulted for his views on several key areas of CDM.
Deepak holds an MBA from INSEAD, France, and is a Chartered Accountant from ICAI, India. Deepak also holds a degree in Cost & Works accounting from ICWAI, Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India- and was ranked in the top 1 Percentile of the Institute.
Deepak is married, with 2 daughters all of whom stay in Singapore.
