Dean Metcalf is an American radio producer for the Bob & Tom Show. Metcalf is the co-creator, along with Bob and Tom Show personality Chick McGee, of one of the most popular Bob and Tom show features, "The Mr. Obvious Show". Chick is the voice of Mr. Obvious and Dean Metcalf is the voice of the caller. ("Huh! ...I never made the connection...") Metcalf is a man of many voices, portraying many regular personalities on the show, (e.g. Jumbo the Elephant, The Pope, Bill (Man with a Woman in a Pit), etc.) Metcalf is an accomplished musician and appears regularly as a member of one of several musical groups (Circle City Bluegrass Band, Thin Lizzy, The Electric Amish and Turnipseeds). |
