Dean Adams

Dean Adams (born 1975 in St. Richards Hospital, Chichester, West Sussex) is a sports reporter for the BBC, broadcasting on BBC local radio.
He currently lives in Pagham, West Sussex.
Adams appears regularly on BBC Sussex and also BBC Surrey and is one of the main reporters at the football matches of Brighton & Hove Albion. He joined the BBC sports team on BBC Southern Counties (now re-branded BBC Sussex) in January 2006 and now appears regularly at the weekends and during the week.
He is also a columnist for the Observer Series newspapers in West Sussex and the Sussex Views magazine. His column "Talking Sport" for the Observer has become a popular read for his opinions on local sport.
In 2007, he became the producer for the well listened too football fans phone-in on BBC Sussex. His working relationship with popular presenter Ian Hart was a ratings winner - but quite often got the pair of them in hot water.
Adams now appears - alongside the phone-in - as the pitchside reporter at home and away games for Brighton, interviewing guests such as Des Lynam, Dave Bassett and Jimmy Hill. He can also be heard interviewing Brighton Manager, Russell Slade, with 'live' team news before a game and is also a regular fixture interviewing the fans.
In March 2009, he reported for Sky Soccer Saturday reports making his television debut.
He will be joined for the 2009/2010 football fans phone-in by new presenters Mike Ward, Daily Star journalist and columnist, and Brighton comedian Stephen Grant. Ex-Brighton legend John Byrne is also part of the team.
