Tommy Manship

Tom Manship (born 27 March 1987) English football. Manship joined Cheltenham Town after a successful trial in the summer of 2007, from the non-League Conference North side Hinckley United.<ref name="Cheltenham profile"/>
Manship's career had started as a youth player in West Bromwich Albion ,<ref name="Cheltenham profile"/> but upon failing to secure a professional contract at the club, Manship moved to Mansfield Town for a two-year apprenticeship in 2003.<ref name="Cheltenham profile"/> At the end of the apprenticeship he joined Hinckley United in 2005, and remaining there until his 2007 was spotted whilst on loan at Grantham Town and was invited for training at Cheltenham Town in summer 2007 move to Cheltenham Town.<ref name="Cheltenham profile"/> He was signed by Cheltenham manager John Ward after impressing during his first trial game.
He was released from Cheltenham Town in 2008 and joined Hyde United of the Conference North league in late November 2008, where has established himself as a first team regular choice for managers Neil Tolson and Gerry Harrison.
