Daylon Wear is an American country music artist. Although active in the Nashville music scene as a singer-songwriter since 1995, and garnering cuts by major artists on Columbia, Sony and Asylum Records, Wear did not achieve significant attention until late 1999 with the release of his debut single "What's She Doing In Denver" on Envoy Disks which led to a publishing deal with Warner Brothers Music and a 2001 release of Wear's debut solo album Texas Twister. Labelmates included Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Waylon Jennings, Billy Joe Shaver, to name a few. Wear's father died the day before his single was released to country radio leaving Wear to take some time off from the music business. During that time his song charted in Billboard and Gavin country charts. In 2003 Wear resurfaced and hit the road playing clubs and cruise ships which led to relocating to Las Vegas in 2005 to perform. He currently has a band called The Moneys shopping for a major country band deal. Wear has worked with country record producers Byron Gallimore, Doug Johnson, Bob DiPiero, Chris Waters, Tracy Gershon and is currently working with Andy Byrd on his band project.
