David Rutstein

David Rutstein (born 1966 in Boston, Massachusetts) is an American/Israeli Internet entrepreneur.

Rutstein emigrated to Israel at age 18, serving in the Israeli Army and briefly studying at Hebrew University, later returning to New York. Mr. Rutstein finished Brooklyn College with a degree in computer sciences. Soon after, Rutstein moved to Miami, Florida and started acquiring domain names and building web sites for himself and others.

Rutstein returned to Israel in 2004 and gained exposure by making the Yitzhak Rabin assassination video public. Rutstein's web sites regarding these topics are currently at the top of the Google search engine in the Hebrew language. In addition, Rutstein has developed multiple commercial web sites, making him a dot com millionaire.

In 2005, Rutstein sued Shimon Peres for slander for 250,000 shekels ($50,000 USD), and claims that he caused Shimon Peres to lose the Labor Party primary to Amir Peretz. The results of the lawsuit have not been made public by either party and Rutstein continues to goad Peres and the Israeli government to take action.
