David Lyric

David Phillip Foster (born July 3, 1980), known professionally as David Lyric, is an American songwriter, event photographer, Promoter, Artist Manager, and a Videographer. He showed a passion for music early in life. He moved to Atlanta in the hopes of becoming a hip hop artist.
In the mid 2000, David Lyric is one of the busiest promoters and event photographers in Atlanta. He covered all the events at The Valley, Purple Rain, and Queens as part of his contract with ATLPics.net. He also photographed most of the major red carpet events for A.G. Entertainment. Among his popular celebrities, he was photographed included Lebron James, Barack Obama, and Drake.
Lyric didn’t want to stay behind the scenes and that’s why the artist manager, photographer, promoter, and Videographer has turned into an R&B artist. He released Chasin, which already has more than 120,000 plays on Soundcloud.
Early Life
Lyric was born on 1980 in Saint Joseph, Missouri. His father was a pastor, and his mother was a school teacher.He lived a typical childhood with nothing worthwhile to note. Growing up in Saint Joseph, he already demonstrated an affinity for music. However, Saint Joseph is not a place to be if one wants to become a hip-hop superstar.
Move to Atlanta
Lyric moved to Atlanta in 2005 in the hopes of making it big in the hip hop industry headquarter. And it is in Atlanta where he managed to establish himself as one of the upcoming artists in the music scene. But it was not an easy road for Lyric. He had to go through several jobs before he managed to fulfill his dream of becoming an artist.
Career

David Lyric started his career in the music industry behind the scenes in Atlanta. He worked his way to become one of the top event photographers and promoters on the scene. As part of ATLPics.net, he organized and promoted shows at The Valley, Purple Rain, and Queens. Lyric was also one of the most sought after event photographers in Atlanta. He is often called to cover major red carpet events for A.G. Entertainment.
Aside from being a photographer and promoter, he also ventured into artist management and shooting videos. He has worked with a lot of artists from the Atlanta music scene, including other promoters and DJ.
2016: Chasin
His dream is to become an artist himself and he proven that he is capable to be the one in the spotlight when he released his track, Chasin. It is an R&B song about a guy who was pursuing several women but is ready to spend his life with the one.The track has more than 120,000 plays on the music platform Sound cloud and over 150,000 views on YouTube. He also has received the attention of various music critics, websites and bloggers including the front page of Source Magazine and Chris Brown’s website Mechanical Dummy. And to show his artistic prowess, he has shot a video for Chasin using his own equipment. The video stars VH1 model Shyona Royston.
