Emil Rengle (born September 1, 1990) is a Romanian dancer, choreographer and creative director. He is the artistic director of The Voice and Romania's Got Talent TV shows. Rengle has worked with many popular music artists such as Alexandra Stan, Ne-Yo, INNA and many others - as well as for music videos, concert tours and television for MTV and MTV Music Awards. He was featured in Forbes magazine, Romania and has risen to be the most known and requested choreographer in the country. Early life Rengle was born in Oradea, Romania. He began dancing at the age of 7 in his hometown, starting off with Ballroom Dance then switching to modern and hip-hop dance. By the age of 16 he was choreographing his own dance team and was one of the most talented dancers in his crew, known throughout the country as the best. He moved to Bucharest in 2009, after turning down his spot at Cambridge University where he was accepted for classical guitar studies. He created a new group of hip-hop dancers, with him as a member and choreographer, with which he won first place at the world-renowned competition Hop Hop International Romania,. He was the first in the country to participate in the World Hip Hop International Championship in Las Vegas, Nevada. His career as a choreographer grew and in 4 years he became the most known and requested choreographer in the country, working with everyone in the Romanian Music Industry for Concerts and Music Videos and even TV shows like Dancing with the Stars. Career Choreographer Emil has choreographed many music videos and performances such as Alexandra Stan’s "Cherry Pop", "Dance", INNA’s "Inndia" and "J’adore", Lariss "Dale Papi", MoRandi, Marius Moga and many more, and has also choreographed their concert tours in and out of the country. His early career took off once he choreographed and appeared in MoRandi’s first 3D music video "Rock the world". He then became more and more requested and began working on Live Shows for MTV Music Awards. He revolutionized the dance industry in Romania by bringing a new style for music videos and choreographies. His unique style landed him jobs after jobs, making everyone want to have him choreograph their music videos. His next big break was working with INNA, Antonia and Alex Velea. He was in charge of their music videos, live performances and concerts for an entire year, traveling with them and starting a trend for artists to have their own personal dance team that they work with. Alex Velea’s dance group became as popular as him, and Emil gained even more popularity for starting that team. During that time he was rumored to have been dating artist Antonia because of the massive amounts of time spent together in and out of the studio. Those rumors were put to rest once Antonia announced her relationship with fellow-artist Alex Velea. He then created the first dance video for an artist, on INNA’s hit song "In Your Eyes", featuring dancers from both Europe and the U.S., gathering millions of views on YouTube and counting. In 2010, Emil traveled to the United States where he collaborated with worldwide known choreographer Sheryl Murakami, who worked with Beyonce and many others, for her submission for Katy Perry’s "Peacock". His connections with the U.S. didn’t end there, managing to be asked to teach at IDA Dance Studio and Millenium more than once, collaborating with choreographers such as Viet Dang, known for his work with Beyonce. He also choreographed for clubs in Miami, creating pieces for artists such as Ne-yo and Lil Wayne. The name of Emil Rengle was heard throughout the world, thus starting Emil’s travels, teaching in countries such as Japan, Dubai and touring continents like USA and Europe, spreading his artstyle. STAN BOYZ His turning point was when he started working for Alexandra Stan. Aside from becoming her official choreographer, working side-by-side with her for her comeback, he also created her dance team, STAN BOYZ, featuring him and another 5 dancers that toured with Alexandra and were part of every music video of hers from her new album. Recreating her image from scratch was also part of Emil’s job, creating new types of choreographies for her to show the world and turning everyone’s attention towards her. They started training together with Alexandra for dance concept videos such as "Rebirth of a Passenger", worked for music videos that topped the charts in Japan and Asia such as "Cherry Pop" and Toured the world in concerts with her. Aside from being on stage with Alexandra, Stan Boyz also organize unique dance workshops, starting a new trend, by inviting artists to assist them in the dance studio. In 2014, Emil Rengle - Alexandra's choreographer and Stan Boyz, and Cristian Miron - Inna's choreographer, united to hold one workshop that featured the artists in Bucharest. PRO TV In 2014 Emil’s career reached it’s highest point so far. His wide experience as a dancer, choreographer and creative director was noticed and he was chosen to be the main choreographer and creative director for all the shown signed under PRO TV: "Romania’s Got Talent" and "The Voice". His agency has also signed with them, becoming the leading choice in the music industry. Chosing dancers from WWCA agency, Emil created the first sub-group of WWCA: PRODANCE. Including him, PRODANCE performs at every edition of The Voice Romania and Romania's got Talent. In that year, he was featured in Forbes Magazine, as a leading trend-setter and has given out a large number of interviews about his work and success. After only a short time since it’s creation, WWCA worked with PRO TV, the biggest TV station in Romania, for Romania’s got Talent and The Voice, performed for the premiere of The Hunger Games - Mockingjay part I, modeled for Calvin Klein, were on stage for Eurovision and performed at Bucharest Fashion Week 2 consecutive years.
