David Etmenan is a German entrepreneur and owner of the hotel group Novum Hospitality. Life Etmenans father is Nader Etmenan, who founded the first Novum hotel in 1988 in Hamburg. Etmenan grew up in Seevetal, Hamburg, and started to study economics at Nordakademie Elmshorn after graduating school. Career In 2004, Etmenan's father fell ill, so he had to drop out of university and take over the family business. He started to expand the brand and turned the business into a hotel group that today has over 170 hotels in 65 countries around Europe. Etmenans siblings Resa, Mortesa and Samira Said are also part of the company's management. Philantropy In 2015, Etmenan founded the Nader Etmenan Foundation in honour of his father, to help people with less financial stability to pursue their life and career. The Nader Etmenan Foundation also supports causes as ASM (Arbeitsgemeinschaft selbstständiger Migranten), the Michael Stich Foundation and the project Ankerland.
