David Codikow

David Codikow is an American attorney, entrepreneur, and brand-consultant.
Career
In 1987 David Codikow founded the law firm of Codikow, Carroll, Guido & Groffman, a boutique entertainment Law firm specialising in music business law.
January 1998, former Marilyn Manson band guitarist filed a $15 million lawsuit in a Fort Lauderdale court against lead singer , the band, and Codikow as the band's attorney, claiming he was cheated out of royalties, publishing rights, and performance fees. He also alleged Codikow favored Warner's interests and gave Warner disproportionate control over the band's name, recordings, merchandising, and touring proceeds. By October of that year, the suit had been settled out of court for an undisclosed amount.
In 2001 Codikow left the practice of law and became President of Immortal Entertainment, a full service music and entertainment company.
In September 2004 Codikow managed the career of multi-platinum recording artist Velvet Revolver.
In 2005, Codikow co-managed Jamarama Live, the first ever preschool-music festival to tour nationally.
In 2007, Codikow co-produced "Beta Records TV," a television show by BetaRecords.com, a music website with social features. Codikow now co-produces the television show in the United States, and advises Beta Records on its entertainment strategy, music publishing and rights management.
