Biography Roman Jason Cory Weaver (born January 14, 1971) is a film director, producer and musician.
In a career that spans almost 20 years, Weaver has crossed some boundaries with his style and type of film making. During his early years Weaver was encouraged by his uncle who was a professional photographer. Growing up with a camera in hand was natural for Weaver and led to the career that he has today.
Film Career Acting Weaver had a recurring role on IETV's 2008 television series Dark Tomorrow. Weaver's most notable acting roles is his portrayal of Dick Delemonte in that series. 14 episodes were shot.
Directing Weaver directed a series of television shows during 2007-2008. IETVs 2008 television series Dark Tomorrow featured the film noir style as well as an influence from Robert Rodriguez Sin City. Weaver also directed The Amazing Nerdiverse, 2008 which cast Steven Teuchert as the host of the show. The show's main driving point was the news of the nerd which was brought forth in a Talk Soup style, as well as show casing the antics of the crew that wrote and produced the show in a Behind the Scenes style.
Weaver also directed two music videos. Surface, Gray Lady Down - 2004, and The Morning Comes, Sean Thomason - 2007. Weaver was the drummer as well as co-editor and camera operator in the Fusebox video Transmission which was filmed on a 6 day completion schedule from idea to fulfillment and a budget of $150. Weaver was the camera operator, set construcion, and story board artist for Flesh and Bone by the band Belljar. Weaver also participated in the recording of the Belljar album Omed which the music video came from.
Musical Career Musical Groups Weaver was in such bands as 10 Inch Jesus, Gray Lady Down Circles of Salt and Fusebox. Fusebox was signed to independent record label Isabella Entertainment and was managed by Lindsey Turner. Weaver started with Fusebox as their drummer officially on November 11, 2003, playing an outdoor event at Kennesaw State College. Weaver played bass on the album Fossil, Fusebox and then replaced the previous drummer on the album Automatic. All which were released in the United States. The two other albums released by Fusebox were Sifting the Ash and Unfold. Weaver also released a solo EP, Savanna in 1997, which was mostly blues based. The EP Inside the God by 10 Inch Jesus and the self titled Circles of Salt were also released in the United States.
