Daptiv, a SaaS-based Project Portfolio Management solution provider, was founded in 1997 as eProject and is based in Seattle. Daptiv is privately held and funded by Kennet Ventures and Bay Partners.

Daptiv offers three software solutions: Daptiv PPM, Daptiv Scrum, and Daptiv SMB.
Daptiv PPM
The Daptiv Project Portfolio Management platform is a web-based software offering. Daptiv PPM includes tools that enable project managers and team members to plan, control and report on work across an organization.
Daptiv Scrum
Daptiv Scrum is an Agile solution used for managing, tracking and measuring application development projects. Daptiv Scrum is built on the Daptiv on-demand platform.
Daptiv SMB
Daptiv SMB is a version of Daptiv’s PPM software designed for small and medium-sized businesses.
History
Daptiv, Inc. was founded (as eProject) in 1997 in Seattle, Washington. In 2007, eProject became Daptiv. Daptiv is a private company.
Security
In 2009, Daptiv became an ISO certified organization. In attaining the ISO 27001:2005 certification, Daptiv underwent a security audit process to meet the International Organization for Standardization's (ISO) requirements for operating an Information Security Management System (ISMS — defined as the complete set of management practices and processes that work together to preserve the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data).
Gartner Magic Quadrant for IT Project and Portfolio Management
In 2009, Daptiv was placed in the “Visionaries” quadrant of Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for IT Project and Portfolio Management. In 2008, Daptiv was in the “Leaders” quadrant. In both 2007 and 2006, while still named eProject, the organization was placed in the “Visionaries” quadrant. In 2005 and 2004, the organization landed itself in the “Niche Players” quadrant.
