Daniel Maithya

Daniel Maithya, born in Machakos county is a Kenyan entrepreneur, businessman and a Digital Media Strategist. He is the founder of RoyalTrendia company.
In 2017 he started Twitter hashtag #KenyaChat to engage Kenyans on Twitter and stimulate conversation on the Sustainable Development Goals. He promoted good use of social media to build his nation (Kenya) through meaningful discussions, rather than destroy it
In May 2019 Daniel was invited to train Eastern Africa Standby Force communications Department team on matters online media to enhance productivity in the team. The training was attended by the then Head of Peace Operations' Department at EASF Major General Albert Kendagor.
Daniel was nominated and voted ranked among the 2019 top 100 Most Influential Young Kenyans by Ghanaian PR & Rating company Avance Media.
In 2020 he was nominated for Africa Youth Awards under the Media Personality of the Year category.
In November 2020 Daniel Maithya who is the founder of RoyalTrendia company won the Founder of the year award (FOYA) in the Social Founder of the Year under 30 category East African edition.
