Dan Stec

Daniel G. "Dan" Stec is the current Town Supervisor of Queensbury, NY. A Republican, Stec was first elected in 2004 and has held the position ever since. Assuming office at age 34, Stec was the youngest person to assume this office in 100 years. In January of 2010, Stec told the Glens Falls Post Star newspaper that he was interested in running for Congress in the 20th Congressional District, a seat currently held by Democrat Scott Murphy.
Background
Stec grew up in Queensbury, NY, and played football at Queensbury High School. He earned his undergraduate degree from Clarkson University, and later went on to earn his MBA from the University of Rhode Island in 1997.
