Damien King

Damien King (born 1982-06-14 in Chelmsford) is an English electronic artist and producer under the alias Digi, as well a professional graphic designer and web developer.
History
Although he had previously experimented with Atari, Amiga and ZX Spectrum based trackers, Damien had his first experience of commercial style music sequencing when he discovered Music, a loop based sequencer for the Sony PlayStation, and quickly enjoyed the creative output. However it was not until 2003 that he received his first personal computer capable of producing music, and after experimenting with producing simple dance tracks with eJay software and distributing them freely under the alias of DJ SephXI, he went one step further and purchased a more professional solution — Imageline's FL Studio.
Giving himself the new moniker of Digital Slave, Damien started experimenting and dabbling in various forms of music, from industrial to trance. It was in early 2004 that his interest in music based videogame Dance Dance Revolution that led him to start remixing songs from the series, sharing them with likeminded amateur producers at the DDR UK forums; making friends such as JAKAZiD and CanBlaster meant valuable feedback, and word spread across other prominent forums such as DDR Mania X. Eventually, fans began to refer to him as "Digi" for short, and the abbreviation was quickly adopted as the official alias.
As of January 2008, Digi is confirmed to be part of the music artist roster for Superstar Online, a music based MMOG currently in development by Fantasii Games and KOL Publishing Europe.
At the start of 2009, Damien emailed a notice to his fan mailing list hinting at a new, second musical identity that he may be using, citing qipr.net as something to keep an eye on and mentioning current collaborations with various guitarists and vocalists, including Thomas Howard of DDR fame.
Discography
Digi is currently in the process of composing and engineering his debut album The Age of Magick, encompassing a range of musical styles and influences but predominantly goa. He is also working alongside established hardcore engineers such as Hattrixx and Sparky to produce hardcore records, possibly also working with eminent dance vocalists such as Kelly C.
