Thomas Sagstad

Thomas Sagstad (born 09.05.1985 Oslo, Norway) is a DJ and Electronic Dance Music producer living in Helsingborg, Sweden.

Biography
9th May in 1985, Thomas was born in a small Town called Gjøvik in the Eastern part of Norway. Growing up in a very musical family, Thomas early discovered his passion for music as he enjoyed expressing himself through different instruments such as the piano, guitar, and drums. Thomas later found himself working his way through different genres and styles of music. His experience with Electronic Dance Music, as it proved that the genre was very open to all sorts of styles and creativity, with no barriers. He soon developed a high interest for the music.

At only the age of 14, Thomas purchased his very first pair of turntables, Technics 1210s, and dedicated himself to building a massive record collection, reflecting his exquisite taste in music. It was at that time, when Thomas was perfecting the art of mixing, to later progress into producing. He quickly gained exposure and got booked for several events such as Payday, Myth, and Fascinated, later becoming resident.

Thomas produced several tracks and quickly become recognized for his fine producing skills, as well as his astonishing mixing skills. He started producing at age 15. His first released work was 3 Colours - Morning Dust (Thomas Sagstad's Monday Morning Remix) in 2006. Legendary dance music label Global Underground named him as the Future Hero of electronic music. Besides his solo works he also produces tracks with Marcus Schössow. They released several tracks together with the alias The Fearless before but they continued as Marcus Schössow & Thomas Sagstad. Their most famous and well-known tracks together is Moog Me and Crepuscolo. His remix with Marcus Schössow of Leonid Rudenko - Summerfish reached 19 at US Top 100 Dance Chart. It also entered to the Top 10 Beatport Chart and Top 5 iTunes Electronic Chart.

He released remixes and singles from labels like Global Underground, Royal Flush, Cyber, Armada, Play, Mashtronic, Spinnin, Baroque, Bestboy Media, Nervous, Oxygen, Alter Ego Progressive

Thomas Sagstad has a radio show called Thomas Sagstad & Friends, which he presents on the internet radio station DI.FM.
