Dalcha Lungiambula

Dalcha Champion Lungiambula is a South African kickboxer who competed in the heavyweight and
light heavyweight divisions. He is a former two division champion under the promotion of extreme fighting championship. He is currently signed
with the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Dalcha Lungiambula was born in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. When Lungiambula was eight-years-old, his father brought him his first judo uniform. Since that time, Lungiambula had practiced judo, winning a black belt soon after. He represented National Judo Team from 2007 to 2009, before switching to MMA in 2010. Following the switch, he moved to Table View where he fought in the Extreme Fighting Championship Worldwide. In August 2016, Lungiambula became a winner of the EFC light heavyweight title, and the same year competed at the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship and was a winner of the ADCC Submission Wrestling World Championship in Abu Dhabi. In June 2018, he was a winner of the EFC heavyweight title holding both belts at 265 and 205 simultaneously. He signed with UFC in December 2018, following many contracts with other companies.
After regional domination in South Africa, Lungiambula made his UFC debut in June 2019 against Dequan Townsend winning his first UFC victory. During the match on June 29, 2019, Lungiambula have TKO Dequan Townsend in a 3rd round at the UFC Minneapolis.
In September 2019 he participated against Magomed Ankalaev at UFC Fight Night in Moscow, Russia.
