Daisy Whitney

Daisy Whitney is the San Francisco-based contributing writer for the television industry’s leading trade publication, TV Week http://tvweek.com. She covers the business of new media.

She has worked for other publications including Advertising Age, Shape, Business 2.0, the Denver Post, the Miami Herald, Canada’s The Globe and Mail.
and is also a regular contributor to OMMA and Media magazines

She is also the host of The New Media Minute which is available at
http://daisywhitney.com, iTunes and ABCnews.com. She is also a regular contributor to the NBC show TechNow.

Most recently she was named the host of Pixel Corps' This Week In Media, a podcast looking at the future of broadband, film, television and the technology behind it.

She was named the #2 babe on the internet behind super nerd Veronica Belmont by the website/blog Cult Jam.

Ms. Whitney was also the part-time co-host of the Lou from Littleton Show on KOA in Denver where she talked baseball.

Daisy attended Brown University graduating in 1994 with a BA in art history.

She is the proud progeny of CBS News legend Michael R. Whitney.
