Da Volunteers is an American rap group from Memphis, Tennessee. Group members are Rock Dillon a.k.a. J Rock and 12 Noon. "Da Volunteers" grew up in Orange Mound and attend Melrose High School. Influenced by 8ball & MJG, this group has produced several underground hits such as "What's Yo Favorite Color?","Shine",ans "Ballin' N My J's" which featured a verse from their mentors 8ball & MJG. They first stepped on the scene with Gun 'N Roses which sold 15,000 out of their trunks.This landed them a deal with Select-O-Hits. Their second album "What's Yo Favorite Color?" sold 25,000 copies. Their third album "Comin' Out Harder" sold more 30,000 copies. Da Volunteers received air-play in Memphis, Jackson, New Orleans, Atlanta,and Miami.Now "Da Volunteers" are working on solo careers, still working and creating music. Rock Dillon's new mixtape "Dirty Money Hu$tlin'" is in the streets now. 12 Noon's new mixtape is on the way.
