Culinary Depot, is an internationally known food & beverage-service equipment and supplies distributor, headquartered in Monsey, NY, USA.
Since 1999, Culinary Depot has been a professional source for commercial kitchen equipment as well as commercial installations and consulting.
History
Culinary Depot was founded in 1999 by Executive Chef Sholem Potash, who spent over 20 years gaining experience needed to start the business. Potash, in the beginning faced adversity and overcame many hurdles while transitioning from full time chef to product distributor. However, during this time he realized his advanced knowledge with products and the industry gave him a competitive edge and he started to see success in 2002.

Soon after Culinary Depot began to amass a successful customer base they decided to enter into the commercial kitchen installation industry and apply their knowledge and experience with products to a new market.
In 2003 Culinary Depot started offering free consultation services with kitchen design specialists. This is available to this day.
In 2009, Culinary Depot expanded their operation and began working with larger organizations, such as military institutions, five-star hotels, casinos, and big-box chain stores.
Kellogg’s Eatery NYC
In 2016, Culinary Depot worked with Kellogg’s to help build the brand new cereal eatery in the heart of Times Square. The project was a major milestone for Culinary Depot and the project was a huge success all around.
Melia INNSIDE NYC NoMad
In 2016, Culinary Depot worked with premiere five-star hotel Melia to bring to life their INNSIDE NYC NoMad location’s kitchen. This hotel is the first of its kind and serves both business and leisure guests in NYC.
Awards and Recognition
Culinary Depot was awarded with a nomination for top place to work in 2015 by LoHud, a regionally known press publication. The award honors businesses throughout the Lower Hudson Valley that provide an enjoyable work environment. The award was based on feedback from over 3,500 employees and they were one of few chosen out of 1,500.
