CSL Reserve Division

The Canadian Soccer League Reserve Division (CSL Reserve Division) is a reserve league which serves the Canadian Soccer League first division, a soccer league in Canada and is sanctioned by the Ontario Soccer Association. History Mississauga Eagles FC Reserves won the 2011 CSL Second Division Championship. 2011 was their first year in the newly renamed "Second Division", which still serves as a Reserve Division for the Canadian Soccer League. The CSL Reserve league was founded in 2009 which TFC Academy was the first team ever to win the CSL Reserve Division championship with a 5-1 defeat of Italia Woodbridge Strikers on October 4, 2009. The 2010 edition was won by Serbian White Eagles Reserves when they beat York Region Shooters Reserves with a 2-0 scoreline in October 2010. The plan was for the division to include the reserve teams of the first division clubs as well as clubs like SC Waterloo Region who were expected to make an application for the first division at a later date.Bathos did happen and Kingston FC (Formerly known as Prospects FC), SC Waterloo Region (formerly known as KW United), and Niagara United all made the move to the CSL First Division.
