Crux Entertainment is a Music Management, Artist Agent and Entertainment Promotion company based in Cork, Ireland. Professional services include Festival, Concert and Live Gig organisation and promotion, and Band and Artist management and promotion. Formerly known as Colin G Entertainment, the company was originally established in 2006 by Shane Ryan and Colin Gurhy, and changed to Crux Entertainment in 2009. Events Crux Entertainment were the entertainment providers and event management company for the Cork Week 2008 Regatta & Festival in Crosshaven, Cork. Headline acts included Paddy Casey, Aslan, Bagatelle, The Walls and many more. Crux Entertainment were also responsible for the Cork Week 2006 festival entertainment and production. Crux Entertainment also develop and manage numerous headline concerts and live music gigs in various venues throughout Ireland including monthly shows in the theatre of the Horse & Jockey Hotel, Tipperary. Artist management Crux Entertainment provides original bands and artists with professional management services, covering everything from gig bookings, marketing the artist, contracts, recording studios, touring, merchandise, endorsements and sponsorship deals, website design and implementation, photo shoots and PR, design and printing of CDs, and much more. Artists Sara Lou Sara Lou, a young singer-songwriter from Waterford, came to the attention of Crux Entertainment in September 2008, and within a matter of days, they had signed a management contract with her and began to represent her. She has since gone on to perform as guest support artist for Mick Flannery, Bagatelle, Aslan, Eleanor McEvoy, and many more, and also landed a nomination for "Best New Irish Artist" at the 2009 Balcony TV Music Awards in Dublin. As well as playing her own gigs nationwide, she also performed at numerous festivals, including the 2009 Indiependence Festival. She also performed live on numerous radio and television shows across Ireland throughout 2009. Nicole Maguire Nicole Maguire, a Cork singer-songwriter, was singed to the original company Colin G Entertainment in 2008, and has subsequently gone on to perform as guest support artist for Nanci Griffith on her sold-out 2009 Irish tour. She has also performed as support artist for Paddy Casey, Aslan, Damien Dempsey, The Stunning and many more, as well as performances at numerous festivals including the Cork Week 2008 Festival and the 2009 Indiependence Festival. Nicole Maguire also released her debut album "Fight The Score" in 2009.
