Craig Curtis

Craig Curtis is an American actor, producer and filmmaker.
Early life
Curtis grew up in the Adirondack Mountains and was first introduced to show business as a 14-year-old runaway with the circus. He traveled throughout the country by train as a roustabout with Ringling brothers, Clyde Beatty and Rudy Brothers. He next traveled the race track circuit and worked with thoroughbred horses. Curtis then moved to New York City, where he modeled for a major agency.
While in New York City, Curtis sold his life story about his circus and race track experiences to help pay his way through New York acting schools. He studied with Herbert Berghof, Lee Strasberg, the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre, Mary Welsh, John Stix and Don Richardson. Later, he moved to Hollywood, and studied with other prominent acting coaches.
Education
Curtis began his college eduation at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he shot his first student film. He was later awarded a producing internship on the Happy Days.
Curtis earned a B.A. and a MFA in Film Production from University of Southern California, where he was awarded a CBS scholarship. He also worked as a Teaching assistant for Film Directing and Cinematography. While at USC, he attended the Actor’s Studio West’s Writer/Director unit.
