CPA Global (CPA Global Limited) is a Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) and Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO) firm, providing research, analytics and legal support services. CPA Global provides legal support services and intellectual property management services to in-house counsel and attorneys in international law firms.
History
CPA Global was set up in 1969 by patent attorneys from a number of patent attorney firms to provide an intellectual property renewals service specialising in patents.
In 1979, CPA Global established its first US office in New York city.
In 1986, CPA Global acquired a majority share of Trade Marks Directory Service (TMDS).
In 2000, CPA Global opened new offices in Alexandria Virginia and San Francisco California
In 2001 CPA Global launched CPA Domarque, a service that allowed CPA Global's clients to protect, manage and maintain their domain names online. This is now referred to as CPA Global's domain and digital content service. CPA Global also acquired Paris based Memotech Interface Systeme, a company that provided software specifically for corporations called Memotech. This software product was subsequently renamed Memotech. CPA Global also opened new offices in London and Munich.
In 2002, By taking a substantial stake in Maxim Technology Ltd., CPA Global could now provide the software product Inprotech. In 2002 CPA Global's trademark searching service also went online, allowing clients to obtain instant quotes, initiate searches and track progress.
In 2007, CPA Global opened its new office in Noida (India). CPA Global created an alliance with Integreon to establish a dedicated offshore legal process outsourcing centre in Mumbai, India, to provide legal support services to CPA Global’s corporate and law firm clients. Services include document management solutions such as Document Review and Contract Management and range of litigation services such as Legal Research and the Preparation of Standard Litigation Documents and Deposition Summaries.
