Pragmatiks Pragmatiks is a SaaS (Software As A Service) platform developed by Trignos Inc. Pragmatiks provides an extensible platform that allows users to create custom web application by integrating multiple modules in a drag and drop editor, called Spacelet Builder. The server side technology used is Java with Object Spaces while the client side components are written in Laszlo/Flash and HTML5. The software is available as "software as a service" or as an in-house deploy-able package. The product focus is to provide tools for enabling online collaboration, HRM, Accounting, Document Management, etc. for Small to Medium Businesses. History Trignos was founded in 2003 by Anu Sen, as a Custom software developer. Trignos first created Spacelet - a space based Transaction Server written in Java. At the end of 2006, the Company decided to leverage its experience in Social Networks, Collaboration and other domains to create reusable components that can be integrated into composite applications without coding. This product was later named as Pragmatiks and was exclusively "white labelled" and used to build custom web applications. A new SaaS version of the software is currently in Beta testing. Features Pragmatiks is built on top of the Spacelet Engine that allows new data models and services to be integrated fairly quickly to support new business domains. Services communicate with each other using a Data Bus and a common data exchange format. A user uses the Spacelet Builder to "drag and drop" different modules and create a custom web application. Finally the user can compile the web application into a "Flash" or "DHTML" format and publish it. The Flash version of the generated apps seems to provide a much better user experience compared to the DHTML versions.
