ReUse Connection

ReUse Connection, reuseconnection.com, is a website promoting the reuse of material goods by making it easy to retrieve and share information about reusing just about anything.
It was created in 2009 by Ian Moise, a water, sanitation and public health specialist and former Peace Corps volunteer. ReUse Connection is a global on-line knowledge sharing community where individuals, companies and other institutions can participate in discussions, get feedback from peers, form virtual communities, and engage in social and business networking featuring information regarding the reuse and repurposing of goods.

ReUseConnection allows users to post items that they would like reuses for. Then, other users post solutions for how to use that item. Users can also ask about what materials or items they can reuse to make something in particular. Businesses can conduct exchanges to achieve industrial ecology outcomes where one business' waste or byproducts become another business' inputs.
