HandsFree Networks (HFN), is a global provider of software and services that automate the resolution of technology problems. HandsFree Networks support automation software platform has provided the ability to precisely identify, diagnose and resolve technical problems via proactive, assisted or traditional support automation. HFN provides complete end-point security solution not only for SMB Market but also for OEM's and vendors. HFN was focused on addressing the IT outsourcing market in USA for a decade of its existence with some sporadic activity in the global market providing the infrastructure for truly pro-active and cost-effective technical support. HFN delivered a significant and quantifiable improvement over the current situation to all user communities and seeded a company focused on Managed Services Provider and IT Infrastructure Management organizations.
History
HFN was founded in 1999 by Allan Millar from Stanford University in USA, joined hands by Sridhar Santhanam CEO to establish it's services globally. HFN opened it's development center and support center in Chennai, India on Jan 2008. Allan Miller's concept of Next Generation - Device Healthcare transformed into HFN's first product Automated Support Infrastructure (ASI) in the year 1999 which was commercially deployed for the first time in the market in the year 2000.
After serving the US market for some time HFN filed a patent in the year 2003. From then onwards the company started its US-based SMB and MSP deployments till the year 2008 when it was taken over by Mr. Sridhar Santhanam who took charge in actively marketing it to the global and enterprise market. HFN opened its development lab in Bangalore, India in the year 2009 where ASI is being given a new touch and look and more commonly came to be known as ReSOFT - Support Automation Solution.
