COTHM

Established in 2002, the College of Tourism & Hotel Management (COTHM) is a hotel school in Pakistan for training in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Travel and Tourism Management. In addition to the management level programs of study, COTHM also runs Hospitality Skills Training Programs of the Technical & Vocational Education & Training (TVET) stream.
History
COTHM was established by Ahmad Shafiq (founder and Executive Director) along with several international educators in 2002. It collaborates with its international academic partners namely the Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality UK, the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute, USA, the Institute of Commercial Management UK, and EURHODIP, France.

Diploma in Hotel Operations
The Diploma in Hotel Operations (DHO) has been designed to meet the needs of applicants considering entry into operational positions within the hospitality industry. The program provide the students with a theoretical & practical understanding of hotel operations management.
Graduate Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism Management (UK)
A CTH hotel management qualification prepares the student for a career in the hospitality industry.
Postgraduate Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism Management
CTH has partnerships with international employers and academic institutions. CTH is a member of the Federation of Awarding Bodies. Virgin Atlantic and Star Alliance work with CTH on our Certificate qualifications while our management programs are endorsed by the Institute of Hospitality and lead to final year undergraduate and Master’s degrees with British and international universities.

Culinary Arts
Advanced Diploma in Culinary Arts
The Advanced Diploma in Culinary Arts, a 2-year training program comprising one year hands-on training combined with theoretical knowledge followed by one year full-time industrial internship, aims at imparting a scientific approach to the students of culinary arts. The program teaches food preparation, cookery, hygiene, food safety and quality as well as presentation techniques. Language training, management tools and techniques form a part of the program.
Diploma in Culinary Arts
The Diploma in Culinary Arts (DCA), 1-year training program comprising six months of intense hands-on training combined with conceptual theoretical knowledge followed by six months full-time industrial internship, prepares students for a rewarding career in the International world of culinary arts.
Students learn nutrition, food preparation, sanitation principles and cookery. Language training, management tools and techniques form a part of the program.
Certificate in Professional Cookery
The Certificate in Professional Cookery is a training program with a focus on the culinary arts. Three months of hands-on training combined with theoretical and practical knowledge prepares students for a career in the hospitality sector. The program impart knowledge of international cuisines. Students learn nutrition, food preparation and sanitation principles.
Certificate in Professional Baking
The Professional Baking program provides students with the basic skills for the entry levels of commercial baking in a professional environment. Instruction focuses on a hands-on experience as well as theory and safety. Students are taught baking preparation including breads, pastries, cakes and cake decorating.
COTHM Manpower International
A subsidiary of COTHM, "COTHM Manpower International (CMI)" is a manpower and human resources provider company. CMI creates linkages with hospitality organizations globally to address their manpower and human resources needs and requirements from line level to the management positions. CMI provides support to COTHMs students to achieve the jobs in the hospitality, travel and tourism industry globally.

"Education Promoters International" Lahore Pakistan is an organization that provides solutions and consultancy for students who want to pursue their studies abroad. EPI is connected with hotel and culinary schools/colleges/universities abroad to facilitate students credit hours transfers. It ensures a smooth admission process and credit hours transfers to the hotel schools/universities of choice. It also helps students participate in the international events of the hospitality, travel and tourism industry to gain international exposure.
