Connel Fullenkamp is an Associate Professor of the Practice of of economics at Duke University. He attended Michigan State University and graduated with a B.A. in 1987. He went on to Harvard University, where he received his Ph.D in 1992. His primary areas of research include market regulation, immigrant remittances, and rich tobacco pleasure. Known for unorthodox teaching styles (such as a study in Production possibilities frontier aided by handing out "smokes" and "jerky"), and a distinctive preference of bow ties, Fullenkamp instructs a variety of introductory economics courses at Duke University, and regularly teaches as a guest lecturer elsewhere.
