CloudOne is a computer software company. Based in suburban Chicago, Illinois, CloudOne was the first IBM business partner to provide Rational Software's IBM Jazz technology to customers in both a Cloud Computing and Software As A Service (SaaS) model. This was a radical departure from the traditional license model for development tools and marks the first shift toward offering sophisticated IBM software to small and medium businesses as an alternative to open source.
Notably, several of the investors, including one officer of the company, Ryan Diem, are members of NFL football teams, including the Indianapolis Colts and Kansas City Chiefs.
