Cloudcade is a mobile and social games developer headquartered in San Francisco, California with its main development studio set up in Saint-Lambert, Quebec. The company develops cross platform free-to-play games, allowing users to synchronize their game data across devices. The company is focused on a global market. History Cloudcade was founded in 2013 by Di Huang (CEO) and Mathieu Rouleau (CTO) planning to create games to that would be played natively on tablets. The debut game being worked on in October 2014 is a free-to-play fantasy shop simulator which Huang describes as "The Sims meets FarmVille". The name “Cloudcade” is a portmanteau of “Cloud Arcade”, and the company see handheld tablets as the future of console gaming, with hopes to eliminate cheating in its games by disrupting the traditional method of server-client communication and relying instead on the cloud.
