The Better Business Bureau Video Series' goal is to educate consumers before a problem occurs in order to reduce the frustration and expense derived from poor purchase decisions. Video titles for the series are taken from the list of inquiries and complaints generated by the BBB each year (nearly 90 million in 2005). Consulting with national organizations and interviewing industry experts each program makes certain that the information is current, accurate, and unbiased.
Over the last 8 years, the BBB Video Series has developed a distribution channel to public libraries nationwide, where consumers can check out the video series for free. In addition, the BBB Video Series has maintained agreements with 140 local Better Business Bureaus around the country where consumers can inquire about local business and acquire resources to handle disputes.
