Christopher Ho Chee Kong

Dr Christopher Ho Chee Kong is an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre (UKMMC). He is also a Consultant Urologist and Sexual Medicine Physician in University Kebangsaan Malaysia Specialist Centre (UKMSC). Currently, he is the only certified Sexual Medicine Physician in Malaysia and Singapore, recognised by the European Committee of Sexual Medicine, having passed their exam (being a pioneer and one the first few in the world to pass the exam). He is also a certified trainer for the Multidisplinary Joint Committee of Sexual Medicine examination.
He is the Consultant and Committee Member of the International Consultation of Urological Diseases (ICUD) on Men’s Health and Infertility, the Secretary-General for the Malaysian Society of Andrology and the Study of the Aging Male (MSASAM), and also a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCSEd), Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow FRCS (Urol)(Glasg), International College of Surgeons (FICS) and the European Committee of Sexual Medicine (FECSM).
He is also a Member of the Faculty of Surgical Trainers Edinburgh (MFSTEd), Société Internationale d'Urologie (SIU), Asia Pacific Society of Sexual Medicine (APSSM), International Society of Sexual Medicine (ISSM), International Young Urologists Association (IYUA), Urological Association of Asia (UAA), College of Surgeons, Academy of Medicine Malaysia (AM), Malaysian Urological Association (MUA), Young Scientist Network Academy of Sciences Malaysia (YSN-ASM) and the Research Ethics Committee of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He sits in the Editorial Board of 10 international journals and is a peer reviewer for 19 international journals. He also has over 130 publications in peer reviewed journals and research grants amounting to more than half a million dollars. He has also co-authored 4 books on men's health.
He is also the tutor for the Master of Science (MSc) Edinburgh Surgical Sciences Qualification (ESSQ) and Master of Surgery (ChM) in Urology, University of Edinburgh; besides being an examiner for the Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons UK exam. He did his fellowship in urology in 2013 at the Southern General Hospital Glasgow, Glasgow Royal Infirmary, Victoria Hospital Glasgow, and also trained in Sexual Medicine in Oxford, UK and Milan, Italy in 2012.
He has also won numerous awards including the Marquis Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare, ISSM Scholarship - 5th European School of Sexual Medicine in Oxford, Travelling Fellowship for the World Congress of Endourology 2012 Award, and the International Guest Scholar Award 2016 from the American College of Surgeons.
