Christine Comaford

Christine Comaford is an American businesswoman and author.
Career Overview
In the 1980s, Comaford worked in software engineering roles at Microsoft, Lotus Software, Adobe Systems, and Apple Inc., and served as a strategy adviser to Oracle Corporation and Symantec.
In 1997, she launched the internet promotions firm Planet U, later selling her stake to News Corp. In 1999, she launched Artemis Ventures, which merged with Novus Ventures.
In 2002, Comaford became an early investor in Google and has served on advisory boards for over 36 startup companies.
Publications
Comaford is the author of three books: "Rules for Renegades," "SmartTribes: How Teams Become Brilliant Together," and "Power Your Tribe: Create Resilient Teams in Turbulent Times."
She has spoken at TEDxSanDiego Comaford was named Volunteer of the Year at the 2024 Heart of Marin Awards by the Center for Volunteer & Nonprofit Leadership.
Comaford has also studied Buddhist philosophy extensively and spent time as a Buddhist nun.
