Chris Shively known by his stage name Chrissy Murderbot is an American DJ, producer, label owner and rave encyclopedia. He came to many people's attention for his tearing jungle productions on Bananas NYC, Mashit and Dead Homies around 2005, but has since capitalized on his detailed knowledge and undying love for all things rave. He has carved himself a status as one of dance music's most exciting DJs and producers. Chrissy is the man behind forward-thinking dance label Sleazetone records, as well as the now-legendary jungle label Dead Homies recordings and the new label Loose Squares. Additionaly, he runs a Loose Squares monthly in Chicago and the mixtape blog My Year of Mixtapes. Since getting started as a DJ in 1995, he's played at over 400 events in more than 15 countries. Chrissy has done official remixes for Delorean, Lemonade, Warrior Queen, Hakan Lidbo, Hostage, CZR, Waxmaster, Norrit, Ward 21, Noise Floor Crew, Beta SP, Johnny Moog, Larytta and others. |
