Chris Archer

Chris Archer is a 17-year veteran of the technology and video gaming industry. He is currently an Executive Producer and Game Director at Treyarch, a subsidiary of Activision. His first products with Activision were original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, Spider-Man and Space Invaders. Since then he has managed the development for few X-Men games and served as producer on True Crime: Streets of LA, Spider-Man 2 and X-Men Legends. He also encouraged people to join Spidey's web, the Spider-Man 3 The Game community, for chance to win an Activision game package and a game console of their choice. Spidey's web is a source of exclusive info on the game, videos, screenshots, insider blogs & developer chats.
Prior to joining the Activision team, Archer served as a Producer at Realtime Associates, where he was involved in the production of Gex 2: Enter the Gecko, as well as designing several original concepts for Nintendo of America. At Playmates Interactive Entertainment, he contributed his talents to the critically acclaimed Powerslave and Alien Earth. Previous to PIE, Archer served as a producer at Virgin Interactive Entertainment working on several hit titles including The Daedalus Encounter, Creature Shock, The 11th Hour, and Tritryst.
