Chimango Edward Chirwa (born 26 December 1977) is a Malawian business development expert and diplomat who has been Malawi's Ambassador to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia since March 2015. He is also Malawi's Permanent Representative to the African Union (AU) and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA). Before taking up a career in foreign service, Chimango Chirwa held several senior positions in sales and marketing in multi-national corporations in Malawi like Airtel and Standard Bank. Ambassador Chirwa holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Chancellor College, a constituent college of the University of Malawi, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree from the Management College of Southern Africa (MANCOSA), a South African business school based in Durban, Kwazulu-Natal Province.
